Velocity Networks Introduces VoIP Offering

Velocity Networks, an integrated Voice and Data services company, announced that it has launched its hosted VoIP phone service.
Velocity Networks said that it has combined its IP network expertise with solutions provided by CommPartners and Transera to provide VoIP services and call center solutions for business customers.
"Our customers were paying too much for traditional business phone services but were not convinced that VoIP would perform reliably," stated Velocity Network's CEO, Kurt Wolfgang. "When we first looked into offering VoIP for business customers, we found that we could deliver voice over our broadband infrastructure privately virtually eliminating the quality issues associated with running VoIP over the public Internet. With typical savings of 30 to 80 percent, we found that our business customers were eager to adopt VoIP after seeing the quality of our product."
"I was looking for a way to save money on our telephone bill and add needed PBX features for our users. Velocity Networks Hosted PBX service has delivered on both," said Michael Wiley for Wabtec Global Services.
Velocity Networks provides integrated, Voice and Data services to the medium and small business market.
